WAD

Founded in 2014 & 2017 by partners, WAD is an inter-disciplinary architectural and interior design practice based in Hong Kong & Beijing. The practice’s growing international portfolio includes commissions ranging from architecture to interior design, furniture, art installation, and product works. Currently working on projects in many mainland China regions, Hong Kong, Macau, and some overseas areas, WAD is composed of multi-cultural staff from different countries and regions. The diversity of the team reinforces a core vision for the practice: to embrace a diverse worldview incorporating overlapping design disciplines for a fresh design approach.

WAD‘s location is purposeful. With Hong Kong & Beijing offering a dynamic cultural context, where contemporary and traditional intersect, WAD is in the immediate center of this dynamic environment. The city’s cultural, urban, and historic contexts function as a point of departure for design inquiries that span across a wide spectrum of scales.
